That Which Transpires Behind That Which Appears| Retreat with Devi, inspired by Pir Vilayat ( October 30, 2021, February 12, 2022| 12 -3 pm ET On the first weekend of March, 1993, about 100 people gathered for an intensive, three-day spiritual retreat guided by Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan. Out of this retreat came a book called That Which Transpires Behind That Which Appears. This is the second of the three half day self-contained retreat sessions, Devi Tide, longtime Secretary General for the Sufi Order (now the Inayatiyya), and close personal assistant to Pir Vilayat, will illuminate the offerings from this and other Pir Vilayat retreats, all documented by the Sufi Order staff from the 1970s through to the early 2000s.
