Music then, becomes the voice of the great cosmic oneness and therefore the optimal way to reach this final state of healing.” Hazrat Inayat Khan (1882-1927) This workshop will explore how sound and music effect us and open our consciousness. Sound has the ability to awaken the subtle centers that awaken us to an inner world, it activates our inner senses and opens us to the multidimensional Being that we really are. The workshop will utilize music, sounds, meditation and Inquiry. Mahdiah Esther Jacobs Kahn, LCSW is a senior teacher and retreat guide in the Inayati Order of Sufism. She is a Shafiyat (senior teacher) in the Sufi Healing Order. She is an experienced psychotherapist with over 50 years of experience, teaches the Diamond Logos work and holds a certificate in Sound Healing from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
